Kick back, unwind and reconnect at our quiet vintage cottage with amazing riverfront views. Our 1967 cottage has all the nostalgia and simplicity of vacations of your youth and with the Pamlico River right in the backyard, there's never a shortage of gorgeous views and activities.
Watch the sunrise with a cup of coffee on our expansive deck, followed by a fun day on the water of SUPing, canoeing, kayaking, fishing or just floating. Rinse off in our outdoor shower and finish off the day with some bocce or cornhole and a drink on the screened in porch listening to a record from our vinyl collection or reading a book from our small library.
Want to visit beautiful downtown Washington? The cottage is located just 8 miles away! We're also 30 miles to Greenville, NC and 46 miles to New Bern, NC.
Although we hope your visit is all about relaxation, if you need to work remotely or keep up with virtual learning, the cottage is outfitted with high speed internet access! (Up to 150 MBPS)
The cottage is also kid-friendly with gradual sandy beach access, flat, private road for bike riding, skateboarding, etc. and the house comes equipped with a water table, swings, pack-n-play, high chair and umbrella stroller.

"Truly memorable stay for our family. Activities and fun and relaxation for all ages. The house was special, a wonderful location and a greatly community. Owners were very responsive and helpful. Couldn’t have gone better."

"This was the perfect getaway for our family. We were looking for a change of scenery and an escape from screens - for the kids and adults - and this was just the place for it. We took family walks down the quiet road, slept in, woke up to gorgeous views of the water, drank coffee on the screened in porch, watch the kids play in the water, played board games, listened to music, cooked family meals, enjoyed cocktails on the deck, watched movies, soaked in the clawfoot tub, and went to the nearby state park."
